Back to School Checklist for Parents

1. Update your SPHE PTO website account.        

Every year, you must update your family information on your account. 

2. Renew/Purchase your PTO membership.

3. Connect with the PTO and school calendar.

The calendar page is where you will find event dates, times and locations throughout the year. You can also get these dates sent straight to your digital calendar on your mobile device by subscribing.

4. Complete $10 class party collection here.  Don't forget the Graduation Fund for 5th and 6th grade!

5. Get your spirit wear here. Also, order your yearbook here (passcode 1015974233094377). Marquee Birthday Wishes are open for the fall semester - order here. Purchase your OPTIONAL dri-fit grade-level shirt upgrade! 

6. Update your Rockwall ISD Skyward parent portal.

Update your student’s emergency cards and all REQUIRED New Student Paperwork on the RISD Skyward parent portal.

7. Deposit lunch money into your student's lunch account

9. Volunteer if you are interested in helping this year; fill out the interest form here.

10. Renew your Rockwall ISD background check. 

Want to volunteer on campus? RISD requires that every volunteer renews their background check each school year. Log-into Skyward and complete the online form to submit your information securely (screenshot below). ALL field trip chaperones MUST also have a background check on file.
